that’s dovne!!! my ★☆★☆ fursona ★☆★☆
(and ye i specifically designed him to be fun for me to draw so of course there’ll be more hahaha)
in the past when i’ve had a hard time with art, i think i stopped trying to push myself and just tried to figure out what parts of the process was making me the most happy
what part of making art was what i looked forward to? i tried to distill it down to just the things i felt the most satisfaction from. for me it was the colors, the textures, and wanting to achieve a specific mood. for other people it might be showing movement or contrast or just wanting to put lots of marks on the page. or maybe its drawing a specific subject or scene. whatever you enjoy making, make a lot of it and keep making it until you feel ready to move on
basically, i just spent time making things that were satisfying. i didnt keep hardly any of it, a lot of it was abstract shapes and brush strokes with color. and that was fine, i just wanted the act of expressing myself feel… expressive again, i suppose.
i hope this makes some sense!! kind of a long winded answer, hahaha
